Gender is the range of the characteristics pertaining to,
and differentiating between, masculinity and femininity.

It is a social and cultural variable that encompasses several


domains, each of which influences health, gender identity, and
expression, gender roles and norms, gender relations,
structural sexism, power, equality and equity

World health Organization states that sex refers to


biological and physiological characteristics that define men
and women and gender refers to socially constructed roles,
behaviors, activities and attributes that a given society
considers appropriate for men and women.

GENDER VS. SEX
Sex refers to “the different biological and physiological
characteristics of males and females, such as reproductive
organs, chromosomes, hormones, etc.” Gender refers to "the
socially constructed characteristics of women and men – such
as norms, roles and relationships of and between groups of
women and men.

The Attraction to gender different from their
own.
2. Homosexual
The attraction to a gender the same as their
own (commonly used to describe someone who
is gender binary attracted to the same binary
gender. Sometimes referred to as gay.

Women who are attracted only to other

4. Bisexual
When you are attracted to two or more
genders. This term is generally used to describe
being attracted to men and women, being
attracted to two or more genders.
5. Pansexual
When you are attracted to all genders

people who are open to experiment with
gender that are not only their own, but do not
know if they are open to forming any sort of
relationship with multiple genders
