This study aimed to determine the Subject-Verb


Agreement proficiency of Freshmen students in the
College of Education at Isabela State University
Echague Campus.
Statement of the Problem
Specifically, it sought to answer the following:

1. What is the profile of the respondents?

a. Age

b. Gender

c. Program

2. What is the proficiency level of the respondents?

3. What is the relationship between the profile of the respondents and their level of proficiency?
Research Instrument

A 60-item test on Subject-Verb Agreement in English Proficiency was


used as an instrument to gather and determine the proficiency of freshmen
students.

To determine the students’ proficiency in subject-verb agreement, the


ISU system in grading and a rating scale were used in the study.
