DESIGN OF POTENTIAL ANTIMICROBIAL LIGANDS, THEIR

CHARACTERISATION, CHELATING, (BINDING) PROPERTIES WITH METAL
(IONS) AND THEIR BIOLOGICAL ACTIVITIES.

Our research focuses on the design and synthesis of compounds, which have the
ability to kill harmful microorganism, such as fungi and bacteria. The basic nuclear
structure for the synthesis of these compounds is benzimidazoles.
