founded in 1952. The
headquarters is located
in the town of the same
name, Cricova, 11 km
from the capital
Chisinau. To visit this

2.THE MIMI FAMILY MANSION

• The Mimi family mansion,


newer, with the
reconstruction, the mansion is
also called Mimi Castle is an
architectural monument of
national importance in the city
of Bulboaca, Anenii Noi
district, Republic of Moldova,
built towards the end of the
19th century.
3.THE CANDLE OF GRATITUDE

The Candle of Gratitude is


a monument in Soroca,
Republic of Moldova. It
was initiated by Ion Druta.
It is located on a slope
between the Dniester river
and the Bechir ravine.
4.THE WINDMILL, FROM THE VILLAGE
OF BEȘALMA
• The windmill, from the
village of Beșalma, can be
seen from the main street,
because it rises on the hill
behind the village. It has
been here since the
beginning of the 20th
century. In its early days,
the mill made wheat and
corn flour. It is still
functional, being turned on
sometimes.
5."CODRII" NATURE RESERVE

• Within these reserves, a rich


"Museum of Nature" operates,
located in the hilly center of the
Republic of Moldova, on the
Central Moldavian Plateau
(Străseni district), occupying
approx. 40% of the area of ​this high
plateau. About 1000 species of
plants, 43 species of mammals, 145
species of birds, 7 species of
reptiles, 10 species of amphibians
and more than 10 thousand species
of insects are under protection in
the reserve.
6.THE VALLEY OF "A HUNDRED
MOUNDS"
• Suta de Movile is a
protected area near the Prut
River, located in the
Rîscani district, between
the villages of Braniște and
Avrămeni. Some scholars
say that "One Hundred
Mounds" is the only place
in Europe where such a
large number of submarine
reefs of the Mediterranean
Sea are concentrated.
7. FETEȘTI NATURE RESERVE

• 220 kilometers from Chisinau and


20 km from Edineț, in the
Draghiștei Valley, far from the
eyes of the world, hides the
village of Fetești, which carries
with dignity and delicacy a salvo
of millenary rocks and great
forests. The Fetești landscape
reserve is a protected area, with an
area of ​555 ha, which stretches
among the famous toltres near the
Prut river, along the steep banks of
the small Draghiste stream.
8.CAPUL DE POD ŞERPENI

• The "Capul de pod


Şerpeni" memorial
complex was erected on
the right bank of the
Dniester, approximately
40 km east of Chisinau, in
memory of the Soviet
soldiers who fell during
the Iasi-Chisinau
operation in 1944. A trip
to this place evokes
history and nature in
equal measure.
9."MAGIC" SPHERE

• In the Ungheni district there is an


unusual ball with a diameter of
about 18 meters. At the moment,
it is not used in any way, but it is
assumed that during the USSR it
was designed to have space
tracking equipment integrated
inside it. Inside the dome is
amazing acoustics. If you stand
in the middle, any sound of your
voice is amplified many times
and creates cosmic sensations
from the reflected echo.
10. THE EIFFEL BRIDGE

• A railway bridge
designed by the French
engineer Alexandre
Gustave Eiffel for more
than 135 years, which
became an important
crossing point during the
Russo-Turkish war. Later
this bridge became a
bridge of flowers for
Romanians from both
banks of the Prut.
