Longitude and
Latitude?
Latitude is the imaginary lines on a
map or globe that measures distance
in degrees of north or south of the
equator. Latitude lines extend
horizontally, from east to west on a
Globe.
Longitude is the imaginary lines on
a map or globe that measures distance
in degrees from east to west of the
prime meridian. Longitude lines
extend vertically, from pole to pole on
a Globe.
