INTRODUCTION

 HOMICIDE - manner of death, one human killing another, and most serious crime.

 CONCEALMENT - destroying all evidences so as not to get caught.

 Thorough detailed post-mortem, details of case were revealed.

CASE SCENERIO
 A body of 25 year old female was found next to the road near Thano Forest in
the out skirt area of Dehradun.

 PM was conducted after identification of the body by the head constable.

PM FINDING
Clothes and body parts - head, face, abdomen and private
parts were wet and stained with leafy particles and mud.

Washerman hand condition was present on hand & feet.

Multiple laceration present over face, head & nose with

weapon impression.

Largest 14cm x 4cm x bone deep left frontoparietal region

Smallest 4cm x 2cm x tissue deep left frontoparietal region

 SAH & EDH present under fractures.

DISCUSSION
This case not only focuses on the method but also on the concealment.

As per the plan, the accused took the victim for a long drive late in the night, at an
isolated place near Thano Forest and smashed her head with hammer.

Extramarital relationship pressuring him to marry her leading to murder.

CAUSE OF DEATH
Cause of death is coma as result of antemortem injuries to head by blunt weapon.

Time since death is 12 to 24 hours prior to post-mortem examination.

CONCLUSION
Casper dictum helps out to calculate time since death.

Secret affair & heated arguments are leading to criminal offence.

Medical examiner system & crime scene visit should be included.

Crime weapon should also be sent for medical examination.
