Summary of Weekly Progress
Week1: Decided to start a customized hydro dipping business and
ordered required raw material.
Week2: Had our first sale and developed skills for hydro-dipping.
Week3: Started getting 3d printed orders and prepared for the stall
being placed at VNR college.
Week4: Received a bulk order of 30 keychains from a company referred
by one of our teammate. Also reached out different colleges for
marketing.
Summary of Weekly Progress
• Our business didn’t run well in the first two weeks, but from the 3 rd
week, we has boosted it up!!.
• We had a change in plan in week 3. We had added the idea of 3d
printing along with the existing hydro-dipping idea. It was because the
customers weren’t aware of the hydro-dipping process and they
weren’t ready to experiment the design on their personal cases and
bottles.
Summary of Marketing and Sales Strategy
• Most of our marketing was through word of mouth. We had contacted
our friends in VNR college to make people familiar with our stall.
• Made pamphlets and posters for sticking at the VNR stall and also got
many orders through word of mouth.
Products & Services
• Our business offers customizable 3d printed objects.
• Our uniqueness is that we design the products according to our
customers needs which many other competitors fail to offer at the
offered price.
• The price of our products depends on the dimensions required by the
customer.
• But our average cost per unit is 120/-
Execution of the idea
• Challenges faced, and the way the team dealt with them (bullet points)
• Keeping up with the pace of orders made the team work to late night
due to the time it takes to print each product.
• Aha! Moments
• Customers satisfaction and their happiness about the quality was no
less than an amazing moment for us.
