Mismatch of info in Roxar docs
by Bogdan Lese and Rikkart Karlsson
Project 3188371 Chevron Mafumeira DSME:
1.Differences between our procedure for topside MPFM and project specific POS/ DRW
a. THE HPT front sheet for this project ROX000259160 is not included in POS, thus not sent to
supplier (here it is stated the test pressure details).
b. Procedure for HPT ROX000152556 says pressure gauges rated to minimum 1000 barg,
supplier has equipment for 700 barg – question on what bases ? our product works at 5000 psi and pressure
test is 1.5x design pressure

2. Lifting testing:
a. Procedure for MPFM skid handling ROX000239421 is not in accordance with project specific
information on the drawings (in the procedure are required WLL 3250 Kg shackles, but the drawings require
WLL 2000 Kg shackles for lifting/handling the skid )
b. the requirement is stating that the lifting inspector should be a competent person acc to ILO 2
c. Based on the old relationship and “tribal knowledge’ between RPT and Roxar, has been
decided to use a 3rd party company (Oceaneering) to do the lifting certification, but this is not mentioned
anywhere in the documentation.
d. lifting slings and shackles the only reference to this is a note on the frame drawings and not part
of POS since is requiring a lifting certificate also for the slings.
3. Cable tray and cable tray support:
a. material we specify in POS SS316 but the grade is not found on the drawings the only
statement on the drawing is SS
b. Proposal: we can use for future AISI 304 or HDP – much more cost efficient
