Quartiles are the three values of


a variable, which divides its
distribution into four equal
parts.
QUARTILES
How do we find quartiles?

Find the following quartiles:


 The Lower quartile is the median of the lower half of the data set.

 value where n is the number of data values in the data set

 The Median is the middle value of the data set.

 The Upper quartile is the median of the upper half of the data set.
