T.B details
Major components of Power
Pack are
i) Ignition Tranformer- 1No,
ii) Capacitors- 2Nos,
iii) Sparkgap- 1No,
iV) PCB (Printed Circuit Board)-1No
HOW TO CHECK THE
INDIVIDUAL COMPONENTS
A. CAPACITORS
B. IGNITION TRANSFORMER
C. PCB
D. SPARK GAP
Capacitors checking procedure
1. Switch off the power supply to Power Pack and disconnect all
input connection to power pack. Ensure delay of minimum 5
minutes prior to check capacitor.
2. First short both connection of capacitor with insulated cable to
ensure capacitor is fully discharged. Ensure proper hand gloves
and precaution to work with high voltage.
3. Now select capacitance measurement on multi meter.
4. Now connect the capacitor terminal to the multi meter leads.
5. If reading is above 10.5μF, capacitor is in good condition. If value
is lower than 10.5 μF capacitor is getting weak.
6. If you read a significantly lower capacitance or none at all, then
capacitor is dead and you should replace it with new one.

Ignition Transformer checking
1.Switch off the power supply to Power Pack and ensure the same.
2. Now isolate the transformer primary and secondary
terminations (by removing termination).
3. Now select resistance in your multi meter.
4. Check resistance across as below termination and note the
reading:
i) Blue and Red
ii) Blue and Orange
iii) Blue and Green
iv) Blue and Yellow
v) Black and Black
Ignition Transformer checking
5. While checking the above cases from i, ii, iii & iv,
you should get the reading in between 22ῼ to
28ῼ. And case (v) you should get the reading is in
between 0.5Kῼ to 3Kῼ. If the reading in above
range value, then the transformer in good condition.
If any abnormal reading you should replace
with new transformer.
