 ACT OF CONTRITION
O, My God, we are heartily sorry for having
offended You, and we detest all our sins because
we dread the loss of Heaven and the pains of
Hell, but most of all because they offended you,
my God, who are all- good and deserving of all
our love. We firmly resolve with the help of Your
grace, to confess our sins, to do penance, and to
amend our life. Amen.
OPENING PRAYER TO PADRE PIO
Dear Padre Pio, for fifty years your body bore
the wounds of Christ and you suffered willingly as
a victim for others. You never took off the crown
of thorns yet always had time to talk, to listen and
to pray. Intercede for me now, for you once said
“As the pearls are held together by a thread, thus
virtues are held together by charity; as the pearls
fall when the thread breaks, thus virtues are lost if
charity diminishes.” Amen.

O God, You gave Saint Pio of Pietrelcina,
Capuchin priest, the great privilege of
participating in a unique way in the Passion of
Your Son, grant us through his intercession the

O Sacred Heart of Jesus, for whom it is
impossible not to have compassion on the
afflicted, have pity on us poor sinners and grant
us the grace which we ask of You, through the
Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary, Your
tender mother and ours, too.
Hail, Holy Queen, Mother of Mercy! Hail our life, our
sweetness and our hope. To you do we cry poor
banished children of Eve; to you do we send up our
sighs, mourning and weeping in this valley of tears.
Turn then most gracious advocate, your eyes of
mercy toward us; and after this, our exile, show unto
us the blessed fruit of thy womb, Jesus. O clement, O
loving, O sweet Virgin Mary.

PRAYER TO SAINT JOSEPH
To you, O Blessed Joseph, we have recourse in
our tribulations, and while imploring the aid of thy
most holy Spouse, we also confidently invoke your
patronage. Relying on that love which united you to
Immaculate Virgin, Mother of God, and on the
fatherly affection with which you did embrace the
Infant Jesus, we whom Jesus Christ redeemed with
His blood, humbly implore you to help us in our
necessities by your powerful intercession.
PRAYER TO SAINT JOSEPH
Protect, O most provident Guardian of the Holy
Family, the chosen children of the Father in Jesus
Christ. Ward off from us, O most loving Father, all
taint of error and corruption. Graciously assist us
from Heaven in our struggle with the powers of
darkness. As you once did rescue the Child Jesus
from imminent peril to His life, so now defend the
Holy Church of God from the snares of her enemies
and from all adversity.

away from all occasions of sin. Obtain for me the grace of
hearkening attentively to holy inspirations and of faithfully
putting them into practice. Protect me in all the temptations and
trials of this life, but more especially at the hour of my death. Do
not ever leave me until you have conducted me into the
presence of my Creator, in the mansion of everlasting happiness.

PRAYER FOR HEALING
Lord Jesus, You said, You did not come for those
who are well. You came rather to console us who are
suffering. You came for us who are in pain because of
our own weaknesses. You came to heal our body, heart,
and soul.
O Jesus, we know that there is no sickness, no
illness that You cannot heal as long as You will it. We
know how much You love us that You have offered even
Your own life to save us from anything that enslaves us.
PRAYER FOR HEALING
O Sweet Jesus, through the prayers of your humble
servant Padre Pio, through, whose prayerful intercession
you have granted his children countless miraculous
healing, I beseech You, please heal me. Please heal my
wounded soul, mind, and body.
My Jesus, my Lord Jesus, I have been suffering for so
long now; please have mercy on me. Only say the word
and I shall be healed.
