RATIONALE OF STUDY

 The project is all about Training and Development of employees. Human resource
management is the management of employee’s skill, knowledge abilities, talent, aptitude,
creativity, ability etc, different terms are used for denoting Human Resource Management.

 ADITYA BIRLA GROUP has its own learning organization. The objective is to create a
learning organization. For this, they have a dedicated an Education Center known as
POORNATA. The trainings are identified based on the individual, organization and
customer needs, with employees going in for technical, soft-Skills training, management
development programs, technology leadership programs and leadership development
programs.

 In simple terms, training is understood as the process of learning sequence of programmed


behavior. Mainly post-employment and off job training is given in training and development.
LITRATURE REVIEW
According to Field (2017); Previous studies find that the most
popular term for “training and development” is “lifelong learning.” It
takes into account how individuals continue learning.

According to Boxall and Purcell (2016): find that human resource


management (HRM) develops employees to achieve their required
performance level.

According to Bates and Davis (2010), Usefulness of training


programmes is possible only when the trainee is able to practice the
practical and theoretical and learned in training programme in
actual work environment.
OBJECTIVES OF THE STUDY

 To know the prevailing training and development method at ultratech


cement.

 To analyse the employees satisfaction towards training and


development programme at ultratech cement.

 To analyse the effects of training on employees performance.

 To know the area of improvement in training and development


program at ultratech cement.
RESEARCH METHODOLOGY

In everyday life every human being has to face many problems viz, Social,
economic, financial problems. These problems in life call for acceptables and
effective solutions and for this purpose, research is required and a methodology
applied for the solutions can be found out.
Research was carried out at ULTRA TECH CEMENT REWA to found out the
“Design of training and development program”.

Data Collection Methods :-


. Primary data
. Secondary data

Tools for Collecting PRIMARY DATA are as follows :-


- Structured Questionnaire
- survey and observation
Secondary data :-
The secondary data has been obtained by studying exiting training and development program at
ULTRA TECH CEMENT REWA.
Data is also obtained by referring to the earlier studies conducted in plant and also the annual
reports, and other materiel served as secondary data.

Sample plan :-
The sample plan is distinct phase of research process.

Sample size :-
Sample size of 50 employees was selected.

Sampling technique :-
In the research convenience sampling techniques are used.

LIMITATIONS

o The sample collected is very small compared to the population of the


Company.
Thus, It may not bring out the exact analysis.

o It is possible that respondents might have tried to maintain


consistency in term of their responses.

o This research would improve the research scales of the researchers,


and would be an opportunity to gain practical insight on the topic with
respect to selected organisation.
CONTRIBUTION OF STUDY

• The research will be helpful to increase my own


knowledge in this area.

• The research might will helpful for upcoming batches for


a quick concept to study about training and development
program.

• This research will not analysis on exact data of ultratech


cement rewa.
