WHAT DO YOU THINK OF THE
TRANSALTION QUALITY?
Longest River on Earth
River Nile flows 6,650 km northwards from Central Africa
into the Mediterranean Sea. Ancient Egyptians prospered
along the river banks, where one of the world’s greatest
civilisations began. Today, over 100 million people rely on
it for their livehood.

The title of the gallary is inspired by
Singapore’s approach to the nature in the urban
environment. In the 1960s, Singapore’s
founding Prime Minister Lee Kuan Yew
lauched a plan to transform Singapore into a
garden city, replete with lush greenery. Since
then, Singapore has gone one step further,
describing itself as a ‘city in a garden’,
underlining the importance of flora and fauna
to the city’s identity.
