ABSTRACT
• This system talks about any crime that is done and if any complaint is made to the police or if
any fir is done and if the criminal gets caught and we can update the information about the case
and one other benefit is that if the complaint is registered online then it can be checked by all
the registered users and if there is any update about any complaint then it can be added online.

• FIR’s date, time, number, and details can be seen any time if required by the registered user.
This system gives a unique id to every FIR as required and the prisoner number will also be
unique.

• Admin can verify and add users but cannot see the complaints that are saved by users in the
database because these files must be kept secret and only the required person could check the
files.

• There is no option to delete a prisoners’ record because it may be required later by the
government to know any details about the person and can help in the tracking of the prisoner.
SCOPE AND MOTIVATION

• The main aim of a crime management system encompass various facets,

including prevention, detection, investigation, resolution, victim support, and
data management.

• Its primary objectives are to prevent criminal activities through proactive

measures, facilitate efficient detection and reporting mechanisms, ensure
thorough investigation and prosecution of offenders, provide support and
rehabilitation for victims and perpetrators, maintain robust data management
systems for analysis and compliance, and continuously improve strategies
based on evaluation and feedback.
INTRODUCTION
• This system is named as Online Crime Management System. This system is
made to keep records about the prisoners and about the crimes. Jailor can log
in as a user and can add the details of prisoners like name, age, address,
crime, and punishment.

• It is very useful as the written papers have a limited time period and can get
lost but in the crime management system, this is not possible as a backup file
will be created automatically and also updated automatically when any
change is made in any record.

• Jailors can also add the details about the different guards that are on duty.
Jailors can change attributes like time-shift duty hours of guards.

OBJECTIVE
The objectives of a crime management system is
• Prevent criminal activities through proactive measures.

• Detect and apprehend perpetrators swiftly.

• Conduct thorough investigations to gather evidence.

• Ensure fair and impartial legal proceedings for prosecution.

• Provide support and resources for victims of crime.

• Offer rehabilitation programs to reduce recidivism among offenders.

• Manage and analyze crime-related data to inform decision-making.

PROBLEM STATEMENT
• Inadequate crime management systems contribute to rising crime rates, ineffective
law enforcement responses, and diminished community safety. Current approaches
suffer from fragmented data management, insufficient coordination among agencies,
and limited resources for prevention and rehabilitation efforts.

• Consequently, communities face persistent criminal threats, victims endure

inadequate support, and offenders often lack opportunities for successful
reintegration.

• To address these challenges, a comprehensive crime management system is required

to enhance prevention, detection, investigation, and rehabilitation
EXISTING SYSTEM
In the existing system only we can see the details of particular information about the
police stations in our state, the existing system has more workload for the authorized
person, but in the case of Proposed System, the user can registered in our site and send
the crime report and complaint about a particular city or person.

Drawbacks of Existing System

• More man power.
• Time consuming.
• Needs manual calculations.
• No direct role for the higher officials.
• Consumes large volume of pare work.
• Damage of machines due to lack of attention.
PROPOSED SYSTEM
The aim of proposed system is to develop a system of improved facilities. The proposed system can
overcome all the limitations of the existing system. The system provides proper security and reduces the
manual work. The existing system has several disadvantages and many more difficulties to work well.
The proposed system tries to eliminate or reduce these difficulties up to some extent. The proposed
system will help the user to reduce the workload and mental conflict. The proposed system helps the user
to work user friendly and he can easily do his jobs without time lagging.
Expected Advantages of Proposed System
The system is very simple in design and to implement. The system requires very low system resources
and the system will work in almost all configurations. It has got following features
• Ensure data accuracy’s.
• Proper control of the higher officials.
• Reduce the damages of the machines.
• Minimize manual data entry.
• Minimum time needed for the various processing.
• Greater efficiency.
• Better service.
• User friendliness and interactive.

WAY FORWARD TOWARDS OUTCOME
We look forward to working with the Government in implementing the recommendations and
seeing an improvement in the effectiveness of the Police Department.

The method of video conferencing can be added to make the project livelier.

An intercom facility will add a little more flexible communication between the Administrator,
Station in-charge and investigation team members.

Not withstanding this drive and progress, the Panel believes that more fundamental changes
are needed. It hopes that the recommendation made in this report will assist in changing the
culture around partnership.
CONCLUSION
