Mission Statement
1. Our mission is to encourage recycling in Trinidad and
Tobago using innovative methods. Empowering a
Sustainable Future through Innovative Recycling:
envisioning a society in which recycling is more than just
a chore, but a vital and active part of everyone's everyday
life. We want to transform how society thinks about and
engages in recycling.
Vision Statement
● Our vision
We envision a future in which recycling is integrated into
daily life by using innovate strategies to change society
views on recycling.
Group Task
Our group was given a project that involved sourcing recycling bins
and picking a hospital to use for execution. As our chosen location,
Roxborough Hospital was selected. In addition, we carried out a
presentation a Roxborough General Hospital to show staff members
how to use these bins correctly. Our presentation tries to capture the
complete journey of our process, from conception to its current level.
The strategy and successes of our group will be clearly communicated
which will be done via a play.

Sourcing the
bins
● The project was assigned to obtain recycling bins for every
bottle returned and to effectively instruct workers on their
correct usage.

● We faced challenges with the "Every Bottle Back" initiative.

We couldn't obtain the bins on time, and individuals weren't
returning our calls.

● We approached the supervisor to gather more information.

Miss informed us that we needed to acquire the bins from the
TRHA Environmental Department.
Sourcing the
bins
● We tried contacting the Environmental
Department, but they didn't answer our calls.

● However, we couldn’t finalize the arrangement

through Mr. Mac’Phee. So we had a group
meeting.

● During a group meeting, we collaborated on

creating a presentation for the Roxborough
hospital staff.
Informing
Staff
● We outlined our plan for implementing the bins within
the hospital.

● We assigned tasks to each team member, clarifying

roles and responsibilities.

● Our team began working on designs for posters,

stickers, PowerPoint presentations, and brochures.
Informing the
Staff
● We started preparing speeches for the Roxborough
hospital presentation, ensuring we effectively
communicate our plan.

● Due to rainy weather, we had to postpone the

presentation to Thursday.

● We rescheduled the presentation, including the bin

posters, PowerPoint presentation, and role play, for
Friday.
Final
Presentation
● Eventually, the presentation took place on Thursday as
planned.

● So, while half the group members when Roxborough

to present the other half was practicing for todays.

● We incorporated the pictures we had taken into the

slideshow, making our presentation more engaging and
informative.

Conclusion
● To sum up, this project has required careful preparation, careful
execution, and successful cooperation. With a clear goal in mind,
we set out to find bins, and our choice to use them at
Roxborough Hospital was thoughtful and consistent with our
dedication to quality. Our program demonstrates our
commitment to not just bringing about change but also
guaranteeing its smooth integration by equipping and educating
workers. We are eager to demonstrate how our efforts have
developed from basic notions to concrete results as we prepare to
exhibit our approach in the form of a play. This project offers as
evidence of the beneficial effects while also showcasing our
capacity for planning and executing.
