“Giving

Respect is
your Duty”
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hkSOojDBOzI
Respect is a way of
treating or thinking about
something or someone. If
you respect your teacher,
you admire her and treat her
well.

People respect others who are impressive
for any reason, such as being in authority —
like a teacher or cop — or being older — like a
grandparent. You show respect by being polite
and kind. For a lot of people, taking your hat
off is a show of respect. When people are
insulted or treated badly, they feel they haven't
been treated with respect. You can respect
things as well as people. Saying the Pledge of
Allegiance shows respect to your country.

Respectful people are friendly and
considerate, seeing each person as a unique
individual that deserves to be treated with
kindness. They are able to express their feelings
without resorting to hurtful language or
blaming others for their mistakes. They
practice empathy and pay attention to what
others have to say before offering advice.
Lastly, respectful people understand the
importance of boundaries.
Some of the most common
characteristics and traits
of someone who has a
respectful personality type
are the following:
Respectful
people are
considerate of
others and their
feelings
Respectful
people are
patient and
understanding,
even when
things get tough
Respectful
people have a
strong sense of
morality and
ethics
Respectfuls are
humble and
don’t seek
recognition or
attention
Respectful
people
communicate
effectively and
efficiently with
others
