1. TELL ME SOMETHING ABOUT YOURSELF.
• Highlight your previous experience and education
• You can also mention one of your major achievements, if it
fits the circumstance.
• Keep the answer to just about 3-4 sentences and not more
than that.
EXAMPLE:
2. WHAT DO YOU KNOW ABOUT OUR COMPANY?
• do your homework thoroughly before you go to interview
• Know the employer well enough to be able to succinctly
describe it in 30-60 seconds
• be prepared with enough information to build your answers
on
EXAMPLE:
I googled some information about your company. I found good reviews, and
interesting products. What is more, your former employees said good things about
you on social media. I actually believe that I now quite a lot know, and can create a
good picture of your working environment.

Your vision has really caught my eye. I like the way you approach your customers
and the long term goals you try to achieve with your activities. Hopefully I will get
an opportunity to help you with achieving these worthy goals.
3. WHY DO YOU WANT TO WORK IN OUR COMPANY?

• Tell them what you like about the company

• Relate it to your long term goal
EXAMPLE:
4. WHAT ARE YOUR STRENGTHS?
• Use a strength that is relevant to the position you are
interviewing for.
EXAMPLE:
• ”I’m a natural problem-solver. I find it rewarding to dig
deep and uncover solutions to challenges—it’s like solving a
puzzle. It’s something I’ve always excelled at, and
something I enjoy. Much of product development is about
finding innovative solutions to challenging issues, which is
what drew me to this career path in the first place.”
“I think my greatest strength is my positive attitude, even during the
most hardest of times. During my college project, there has been
couple of occasions, when our idea was not falling in place and the
results were negative. I had to believe and think positively and keep
my team motivated to persist on our idea, and finally we got the
desired result.”
5. WHAT DO YOU CONSIDER TO BE YOUR WEAKNESS?
• Show that you are aware of your weakness and what you
have done to overcome it.
• Show that you are “self-aware” and that you have the ability
to take steps to improve yourself.
EXAMPLE:
• ”I sometimes have trouble saying “no” and end up
overwhelmed by my workload. Earlier in my career, I would
take on so many projects that I’d work evenings and
weekends. It was stressful. I realized this was
counterproductive, so I started using workload management
tools and setting better expectations for myself and my
teammates.”
6. WHY SHOULD I HIRE YOU?
• Share your Knowledge
• Work experience
• Skills related to job
• Career Goal
EXAMPLE:
• Sir, as I am a fresher, I have theoretical knowledge but I can
do hard work for my organization. And I will put all my
efforts for the good progress of organization. Being punctual
and sincere, I can finish the work given to me on time and
try my best to fulfill all the needs of company from me.
7. WHERE DO YOU SEE YOURSELF 5 YEARS FROM NOW?

• Short-term and Long-term

• what are your career aspirations, how long would you be
committed to the organization, is there any immediate
plans for you to move on
EXAMPLE:
• “As a fresher, I am assuming by first five years will be a
huge learning curve. I want to absorb much of the industry
knowledge and also to sharpen my technical abilities. In
next five years I see myself playing various roles in the team
from a developer to leading a team.”
8. HOW WELL DO YOU HANDLE STRESS/PRESSURE?

• The interviewer is checking for your composure, work

ethics and how you actually stand against real-life situations.
• give specific instances from the past when you managed to
do good in spite the tremendous pressure
EXAMPLE:
9. WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS ABOUT WORKING IN A
TEAM?
• Provide instances from your college or internship life to tell
your interviewer how you are a team player.
EXAMPLE:
10. DO YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS?
• Keep a list of at least three to five questions in the back of
your mind so that no matter what, there are at least two
questions you have to ask at the end of the interview.
EXAMPLES:
 Can you tell me more about the day-to-day responsibilities of this job?
 Is this a new position? If not, what did the previous employee go on to do?
 How would you describe the company’s management style?
 Who does this position report to? If I am offered the position, can I meet him/her?
 How many people work in this office/department?

 What would you say are the best things about working here?
