It is a widely acknowledged fact that the most valuable asset of any organization is its
human resource or the workforce. An organization cannot grow or have a successful
business if it does not have efficient and productive manpower and in this regard, the role
of the HR department is quite important. As the HR department has a number of practices
that are being used to motivate, inspire and sustain talented employees in the
organization, thus it is important that the manager of another department should also
understand the different strategies and philosophies, theories that are being implemented
in the HR department.
Any manager has to work with a team of certain employees and in order to fulfill the
departmental goals, it is important for that manager to motivate the team members i.e.
the manpower and inspire them and provide them all the necessary support that is required
to perform their task successfully.
