Zomato
Zomato is an online food delivery service that allows users to search for nearby restaurants, order
food, and get it delivered to their doorstep. Zomato is an Indian multinational restaurant aggregator
and food delivery company. It was founded by Deepinder Goyal and Pankaj Chaddah in 2008.
Zomato provides information, menus and user-reviews of restaurants as well as food delivery
options from partner restaurants in more than 1,000 Indian cities and towns, as of 2022–23.
Zomato has over 1.4 Million listed restaurants, and
each has its own pages, which are maintained
regularly. This shoots the total number of pages on
Zomato to over several million, which has its own
advantages for the SEO of the website. We all know
that the more pages on a website, the more the
authority of the website, and the higher the
possibilities of gaining crucial ranks on the search

active food delivery restaurant partners.
• Zomato had 352,000 average monthly
delivery partners.
• It had 647 million orders and 58 million
customers in fiscal year FY23.
• It served more than 800 cities in the same
year.

Zomato has won a range of prestigious awards throughout the years. The
food tech giant even bagged the top honors at the seventh edition of The
Economic Times Startup Awards, including the Startup of the Year award
in 2021.
