STEP 1 - Your Folder on the
Schools Server Make a Folder
for Lesson 4 Following a Path
Step 2 Select Create a New Part
Step 3 Name & Save the Part
Step 4 Save it in the folder you just
made, Name it Lesson 3 Lofting, & then
Click Save
Step 4.2 Now the Part is
Named & Saved
Step 4.3 Now anytime you
want to save all you have
to do is click the save
button
Step 5.1 - Blank Part
• This is what the blank part looks like, until you click on
Start 3D Sketch.

• Next we are

Step 10.1 – Select the Path
• Click on Select the Curve or Edge (Path).
• Click on the Path Sketch.
Step 10.2 – Sweeping the Path
• Click OK because this is what
we want.

• This is the finished sweep.
• Next going to choose materials…
Step 11.1 – Material & Color
• I Choose Nitride because it can handle oil…
• Dark Gray, Black is too hard to see…
Step 12.1 – Drawing
• I put it into an Drawing, ¼ Scale, then put
in the Annotations & Notes.
Step 12.2 – Drawing
• I put it into an Drawing, ¼ Scale, then put
in the Annotations & Notes.
Step 12.3 – Drawing
• I put it into an Drawing, ¼ Scale, then put
in lots of Annotations & Notes.
Step 12.4 – Saving the File
• File
• Save As
Step 12.5 – Saving
• Save the file in your folder on the
Network/Server.
