TOPIC : SCORING OF MUSICAL NOTES

OBJECTIVE : At the end of the lesson, the pupils


should be able to write high, low and
middle notes respectively on the stave
by adding stem correctly to the note
note head in the appropriate direction
DESCRIPTION

Scoring of musical note involves writing musical


notes on the lines and spaces of the stave.
 High notes are written near the top of the stave
( above the 3rd line of the stave)

 Low notes near the bottom of the stave


( below the 3rd line of the stave )
 Middle notes at the middle of the stave
( on the 3rd line of the stave )
As a general rule if the notes are high, the stem go
down and if the notes are low the stem go up.
For middle notes the stem can go up or down.
