What is Visual Rhetoric

● The use of images, graphics, symbols, and other visual elements to communicate a
message, persuade an audience, or convey an argument. It's a branch of rhetorical
analysis that focuses on how visuals are used to influence people's perceptions, beliefs,
and behaviors
● Key aspects:
○ Colors and Images
○ Fonts and Spacing
○ Arrangement and Positioning
○ Clarity and Contrast
○ Use of Symbols
What Colors Provoke Which Emotion

● Red- passion, excitement, boldness, energy, confidence, ambition


● Pink- love, calmness, warmth, femininity, sensitivity
● Purple- deepness, creativity, compassion, originality
● Green- balance, clarity, safety, good judgment, positivity, nature
● Blue- perspective, control, awareness, purpose, determination
● Yellow- joy, vitality, energy, innovation, warmth, attention
