Treatment of Chronic

Objectives of treatment
- to stop the development of the pathological process;
- prevention of complications;
- restoration of the anatomical shape and function of the tooth;
- to exclude the sensitization of the body.
Treatment of chronic forms of periodontitis.
The first :
preparation of the carious cavity, opening of the tooth cavity,
expansion of the orifices of the root canals, removal of pulp decay
from the root canal under the antiseptic bath, instrumental, chemical
and antiseptic treatment of the canal, temporary obturation of the root
canal, temporary filling.
Treatment of chronic forms of periodontitis.
The second visit :
Removal of the temporary seal, antiseptic treatment of the root canal,
permanent obturation of the root canal, X-ray control, application of a
permanent filling.
Note: The number of visits depends on the choice of filling material for
root canal obturation.
Treatment of exacerbation chronic periodontitis.
First visit:
Anesthesia, preparation of the carious cavity, opening of the tooth cavity,
evacuation of pulp decay from the root canal, instrumental treatment of
the canal, opening of the apical opening, when the exudate outflow
appears, the tooth is left open, give recommendations. If necessary, a
consultation with a dental surgeon.
Treatment of exacerbation chronic periodontitis.
Second visit:
Antiseptic treatment of the root canal, temporary obturation of the root
canal with the application of a temporary filling.
Third visit:
removal of the temporary bandage, repeated antiseptic treatment of the
root canal, permanent obturation of the root canal, X-ray control,
application of a permanent seal.
