SUMMARY
• Anglo-American Literature are pieces of literature that is a mixture of
different cultures and traditions of Germanic tribes who migrated to the
Americas.
• Beowulf is an example of an Old English Epic which is a heroic poem,
considered the highest achievement of Old English literature which also
exhibits the six common elements of epics: Super human strength and
Valor, Legendary hero, Involvement of the supernatural, Omniscient
narration, Epic style of writing, and Multiple settings.
