SAC’s

If you miss a SAC:

• You can only miss a SAC if you have a medical certificate.
• If you do not have a medical certificate, you receive a 0 for the SAC.
• You will then complete the SAC upon a date and time being arranged.

If you score less than 50% on a SAC:

• You must complete a redemption task to satisfy the outcomes that weren't satisfied on the
original SAC
• Your SAC mark cannot be changed, you are purely satisfying outcomes.
• SAC redemption will take place the next Monday or Wednesday night at 3:30pm.

If you receive an ’N’ for one or more of the key knowledge dot points:
• You must redeem those dot points to show satisfactory understanding
• This is generally done at lunch or after school.
Units 3 & 4 Assessment and Satisfaction of Outcomes

01 Exam
The end of year exam is worth 50% of all assessment, it’s the
major contributor to your overall study score, regulating SAC’s.
02 SAC’s
School Assessed Coursework contributes to 50% of your study
score. There are 8 SAC’s, marks are regulated according to
exam.
This will require a journal for each
excursion/camp we do. Evidence will
be used from your journal to formulate
your written report.
Camps & Excursions
Attendance on camps is compulsory, they relate so heavily and importantly to SAC’s and the exam.
