MARRIAGE AT EARLY AGE

Teenage marriage has become a challenge in the modern age. A lot of people in our country get married at an early age but this may cause severe problems to happen in the years to come. But, somebody believes that it is good to make a family at an early age. However, I strongly believe that people should not marry early because, marriage is about lifetime commitment and certainly its not an easy task to do. So, think what will probably be in a teenagers mind about marriage?

Girls face severe health problems due to unwanted pregnancies Threat to contracting sexually transmitted diseases like HIV This is because husbands may have already been infected with the previous sexual relationships As the girl has a low economic status, its almost impossible for the girl to negotiate safe sex Ending up having many children as their knowledge about pregnancy is poor Become a victim for domestic violence and sexual abuse As the girl is powerless compared to the man, they are more likely to be beaten and threatened Data shows that 29% of married adolescents were beaten by their spouses and 41% when they were pregnant
