Introduction
Abstract :
 Households of today are becoming smarter and more automated. Home automation delivers
convenience and creates more time for people. Domestic robots are entering the homes and
people’s daily lives, but it is yet a relatively new and immature market.

 However, a growth is predicted and the adoption of domestic robots is evolving. Several robotic
vacuum cleaners are available on the market but only few ones implement wet cleaning of floors.

 The purpose of this project is to design and implement a Vacuum Robot Autonomous and Manual
via Phone Application.
 Vacuum Cleaner Robot is designed to make cleaning process become easier rather than by using
manual vacuum.

 The main objective of this project is to design and implement a vacuum robot prototype by using
Arduino Mega, Arduino Shield, LDR Sensor, Real Time Clock, Motor Shield L293D, Ultrasonic
Sensor, and IR Sensor and to achieve the goal of this project.

 Vacuum Robot will have several criteria that are user-friendly.

ROOF CLEANING ROBOT
Components
 1)Arduino ESP8266
 2)DC Motors
 3)DC Motor Driver
 4)Battery
 5Water Pump
ARDUINO ESP8266

 The Arduino ESP8266, often referred to as the Node MCU, is a

low-cost, open-source platform that combines the ease of Arduino
programming with the power of Wi-Fi connectivity.

 It is based on the ESP8266 Wi-Fi module, which enables seamless

communication with other devices and the internet
DC MOTORS
 The DC motor is the motor which converts the direct current into
the mechanical work.

 It works on the principle of Lorentz Law, which states that “the

current carrying conductor placed in a magnetic and electric field
experience a force”.

 And that force is the Lorentz force

DC MOTOR DRIVE
 A motor is rotated by the repulsion/attraction between the magnet
and the magnetic field generated when the current flows in the coil.

 The motor is rotated using the repulsive force from the same
magnetic poles and the attractive force from different magnetic
poles.
BLOCK DIAGRAM
WATER PUMP
When the water hits the rotating impeller, energy of the
impeller is transferred to the water, forcing the water out
(centrifugal force).

The water is displaced outward, and more water can now

enter the suction side of the pump to replace the displaced
water
BATTERY
The metal that frees more electrons develops a
positive charge, and the other metal develops a
negative charge.

If an electrical conductor, or wire, connects one end of

the battery to the other, electrons flow through the wire
to balance the electrical charge.
ADVANTAGES
Commercial Buildings: Roof cleaning robots can be employed by building
maintenance companies to clean the roofs of commercial properties such as
offices, malls, and warehouses
Industrial Facilities: Industrial facilities with large roofs, such as manufacturing
plants, warehouses, and distribution centers, can benefit from roof cleaning robots
to ensure the cleanliness and structural integrity of their roofs.

 Green Roofs: Roof cleaning robots can be used to maintain green roofs, which
are covered with vegetation. These robots can remove organic debris, weeds, and
excess soil, ensuring the health and longevity of the vegetation while preventing
drainage issues and root penetration into the roofing material.
CONCLUSION
Moreover, roof cleaning robots contribute to environmental
sustainability by reducing the need for manual labor and the use of
harsh chemicals in roof cleaning processes.
In conclusion, roof cleaning robots offer a versatile and reliable
solution for maintaining clean, well-maintained roofs in various
applications.
 As technology continues to advance, these robots are expected to
play an increasingly important role in the maintenance and
management of roofs, contributing to improved efficiency, safety, and
sustainability in building maintenance practices.
