Analysis of problem
There is an issue of ergonomics when it comes to laptop and computer
users, there low level on desks can cause back and neck issues effecting
health.
A large majority of people use computers on the daily whether that is for
work or school or just to relax, computers are a highly used all the time.
This can constantly affect health if used too much.
Existing products
Products that exist already are priced on drastic scales, but the simpler
designs tend to be more reasonably priced. The more expensive items
although priced reasonably for what the product is the client may not see
the need for a design that expensive.
The cheaper designs while working effectively are less aesthetically
pleasing and tend to look plainer and simpler.

My client wants a stand that has extra storage to help keep his desk tidy in

To design and create an aid for studying or working from home. The product will be used in home at a desk to help with posture and comfort of the user. It will be targeted

This will be based on the manufacture of the product; I will need the production to cost around £10.
The product will sell around £20 - £30 pounds. This is decided by the questionnaire where each person said they would
buy a monitor stand that costs around £20. This would also allow for a decent profit.

The product will be aimed at people who work heavily or use their computers regularly.
It needs to be used regularly and hold a decent amount of weight, so it needs to be sturdy.
Function
The product must raise the computer monitor enough as to give the customer good posture. The product will also need
have extra storage space and organization built in as wanted by the questionnaire as it helps keep the desk tidy and
organized.
Sustainability
The product will be designed and made from recyclable materials as to make sure the product is sustainable.

The size of the product should be large enouch for at least 1 monitor and a built-in desk tidy it should be around 450 mm
long.
