OVERVIEW OF THE
PROJECT
The Ed psych group had begun their journey with the comm psych
intervention by working collaboratively as a unit . This was not a
smooth journey . Initially the group had decided on meeting with an
organisation that had been running through UKZN . Unfortunately this
was met with a dead end and led to our second endeavour . The group
had came up with a bullying campaign that was well suited for the
second organisation , an orphanage based in PMB.

Unfortunately we had been met with another challenge and the

outcome of the meeting was unfavourable.

This led us back to the drawing board. We had noted that a

community intervention is never as straightforward as it seems. Back
at the drawing board , our group had persevered and contacted an
online organisation . GirlLeada . This led to a promising proposal
being curated and presented to the the organisation.
