affixes.
Group Activity

I will divide this class into 4 groups.


Each group will write words with
affix as many as you can and identify
if it is prefix or suffix. Choose only
one representative each group to
read/present words that you’ve
listed.
Generalization

Always remember that a prefix


comes at the beginning of a word and
a suffix always comes at the end of a
word.
A root word holds the most basic
meaning of any word. And is what is
left when you remove all the prefixes
and suffixes.
