What can you tell us about yourself? Introduce yourself /Why do you want this
job?
MOST IMPORTANT
Talk about yourself that make you re unique compared to others, details not in
your resume and cover letter
Talk related to the jobs, not something personal about your family
Talk about things related to the organisation so you can connect, have the same
goals/objectives (mine- fighting crime and save the country millions of dollar
cleaning up graffiti)
Behavioral Questions to be asked:
Tell me about a time when your team did not perform to its potential. How did you handle it?
Give me an example of when you showed initiative and took the lead
Tell me about the time when you received feedback on your performance and you disagreed with
the feedback. How did you handle the situation?
Give us an example of how you have worked as part of a team.
Give me an example of a time when you motivated others
Have you ever noticed that someone at work was having a bad day? How did you know? What
did you do?
How do you deal with conflict in the workplace?
What has been your biggest accomplishment so far?
What are your goals? Where do you see yourself in five years?
Technical Questions to be asked:
Research the organisation and the interviewer (people addressed in the JD) on google
or LinkedIn (mine: their strategy in the next 5 years, what are they doing atm? What
What type of skills are the team missing that you are looking to fill with a new hire?
