Problem Statement
Crop Guidance and Farmers Friend

Provide farmers with a comprehensive digital solution for optimizing crop

selection, cultivation, and management practices. The platform should integrate
weather forecasting data, soil health assessments, pest and disease monitoring
systems, and market analysis tools to provide personalized crop
recommendations and actionable insights. Additionally, it should offer features
such as advisory services, agricultural training programs, and access to
government schemes and subsidies to support farmers in maximizing their yield
and profitability.
Solution
Overview
Dashboard:
Upon logging in, farmers are greeted with a personalized dashboard displaying relevant information
such as weather forecasts, soil health status, pest and disease alerts, market trends, and upcoming
tasks.

Crop Recommendation System:

Utilizes data from weather forecasts, soil health assessments, and market analysis to suggest the
most suitable crops for cultivation based on the farmer's location, soil conditions, and market
demand.

Weather Forecast Integration:

Provides accurate and localized weather forecasts to help farmers plan their activities such as
planting, irrigation, and harvesting.
Soil Health Assessment Tools:
Allows farmers to conduct soil tests or input existing data to assess soil fertility, pH levels, nutrient
content, and other relevant parameters.

Pest and Disease Monitoring System:

Based on the crop selected by the farmer,we recommend the pesticides that they are efficient to
control crop diseases.

Government Schemes and Subsidies:

Provides information about government programs, subsidies, loans, and insurance schemes
available for farmers. Assists in the application process and documentation.
