Bernard Madoff

• The brilliant but terrible mind who created and

implemented the plan of this epochal crime is
Bernard Madoff, born in New York in 1938, from a
family with Jew origins. He was a famous and rich
banker and an esteemed man of culture in his
city, who swindled the biggest companies all
around the world for more than thirty years. His
personal capital counts more than 65 billion
dollars, all gained illegally.

Pablo Escobar

• One of the most successful and well-known drugs

trafficker of all times is definitely Pablo
Escobar, born in 1949 in Colombia, who also held
political offices. During the peak of his long and
profitable career he has been gaining more than one
million dollars a day, until the colombian police
arrested him. Many producers also created films, T V
series, videogames, books and even songs about this
particular figure and his illegal activity.

Saddam Hussein

• On 18 February 2003 Saddam Hussein, a famous

politician, soldier, oil trader and criminal,
instructed his elder son to attack the central bank
if Iraq. He stole about 1,24 billion dollars from
the robbery, but soon the guy and his father were
arrested. Their execution was filmed and the
video was shared on the internet and later deleted
in order to create outrage and anger into his
supporters.

Michelangelo's "pity"

• The act took place in Italy, the homeland of all

kind of cultures, when in 1972 an insane
Hungarian traveller, called László Tóth.
He entered as a visitor in the San Pietro Church,
in the Vatican, avoiding the guard's checks and
started to destroy with an hammer many famous
artworks, screaming senseless phrases. The most
ruined sculpture was the Michelangelo's "Pity",
who lost its nose.

HISTORY" Gary McKinnon

• Gary McKinnon, one of the most able programmer

in the United Kingdom, also known as "Solo", in
2001-2002 hacked 97 computer of the National
Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) in
order to demonstrate the existence of aliens and
UFOs. But he wasn't able to download enough
proofs about his theory. The Secret Agents found
and arrested him but, thanks to his mental illness,
his sentence was reduced

ATTACK " Osama bin Laden

• The most cruel terrorist attack took place in the United

States of America on September 11, 2001 at precisely
8:45, when 19 Al Qaida's terrorists crushed the Twin
Towers using four airplanes in New York. The event
was broadcast live on all the national TVs, and it was
first thought as a casual accident. Panicked people
launched into the void and started calling their loved
ones in order to calm them, but in vain. The leader
Osama bin Laden was accused and then killed on May
2, 2011.
