1. RATIONALE
English is the most popular language in the world. Learning
English has become necessary and in most countries, English is
a mandatory subject in school. To understand and use English,
learners are required to learn all four skills of listening,
speaking, reading, and writing. Because English is a mandatory
subject, the pressure from it is not low. People have found
many ways to learn to get the best results. in which, listening to
US-UK music became popular and widely applied. Therefore,
we conducted this study to prove that listening to US-UK music
is really interesting and effective for English learners.

Data collection procedure
• Divide the students into two groups:
- 30 students will to music
- 30 students will not listen
• After 2 weeks, the students will take the questionnaire
• Analyze the music listening group's questionnaire results to see if their listening skills improve.
• Interview 5 students out of 30 students in the music listening group
