Aim: Give Ss practice using the past tense and

the present perfect to describe life events.
z
Prepare

 Divide the class into small groups. (3 o 4 students the most).

Groups choose a celebrity per participant. Individual students
talk about 2 or 3 celebrities.

 Have Ss research events in the person’s life. Then they find

photos taken at different times in the person’s life.

 Have Ss make a time line of the person’s life.

Present

 Have groups share their time lines with the class, explaining
events in the person’s life. Record a video as in the first project.

 Remind Ss to use the past tense and the present perfect.
