GENERAL
SCOPE
DELIVERY
Project 1:

- Physical analysis build

Project 2:

- Theoretical analysis build

Project 1:
- Within the available construction of the department
- Minimal time and money to be used.
Project 2:
SPECIAL
- Keeping the budgets to a minimum while finalizing
the proposal REQUIREMENTS
- Maximizing the coverage of the waste processing
system whilst reducing waste
SCHEDULE
DETAILs

Time Duration: 1 Month

Start Date: 1st March
Final Deadline: 28th April
Vision of Plastic
Free Campus
- Eliminate the plastic we do not need: the throwaway straws,
cutlery, and cups; the unnecessary packaging; and the items that
can be replaced with better alternatives.

- Innovate so all the plastic we do need is designed to be safely

reused, recycled or composted.

- Circulate everything we use, making sure the plastic we

produce stays in the economy and never becomes waste or
pollution.
Principle

Circular Economy

a completely different approach to economic development where

waste and pollution are designed out, products and materials are
kept in use and natural systems are regenerated.
 tangible, time-bound commitments
 unprecedented level of collaboration
 unprecedented level of collaboratiocreate long-term resilience and generate new business
and economic opportunities
 unstoppable momentum to help create a plastic system that works
DRAWINGS
& DELIVERABLES

Project 1
1. Analysis of the current waste processing system and its efficiency
2. Comparative analysis of the waste processing system before & after improvements
3. Recommendations of improving waste collection, segregation & processing
Project 2
1. Analysis of the waste processing system earlier proposed
2. Updated proposal as per current scenario
3. Feasibility study & performance analysis of the proposed system
CONSTRAINTS & ASSUMPTIONS
Project 1
- Time Constraint: 1 Month
- Construction Constraint
- Assumption: waste processing plant is working
- Assumption: Availability of required staff and experts within the time constraint
Project 2
- Budget Constraint:
- Assumption: Availability of infrastructure of water & electricity supply to support a system
Entrepreneurship and R&D
Breakthroughs in material science, product design and recycling technology

Financing these innovations at an early stage, along with providing capital for
substantial new infrastructure to collect and reprocess plastic
RISK
MANAGEMENT
Project 1
- If project is not completed, it is to be left in a state such that it can be resumed later
- If waste processing needs more improvements than feasible, to be simply
documented for
report
- If staff/experts are not available in due time, to be informed to professors for changes
Project 2
- If the proposal wasn’t feasible even earlier, to inform the proposal owner ASAP for
suggestions.
- If the proposal isn’t feasible now, to inform the proposal owner for alternatives
SUCCESS CRITERIA
Project 1
- Purity and cleanliness of the processed waste.
- Efficiency improvements of waste processing system is maximum as
per current
infrastructure.
Project 2
- The proposal covers the maximum area of the department
- The system uses minimal energy and sustained efficiency upon regular
use
- The proposal costs are within available CSR funding
