Motivation
As Low-Rate Denial of Service (LDoS) attacks gain prominence, they pose
a significant challenge to network security due to their nuanced but
potent impact. Across critical sectors such as telecommunications,
finance, healthcare, and transportation, Software-Defined Networking
(SDN) serves as the foundational infrastructure. However, traditional
DDoS mitigation methods might not suffice to counter LDoS threats in
SDN environments, owing to their dynamic traits and distinct features.

Dataset Description
• We propose to devise a novel scoring mechanism to annotate the training data i.e.,
audio, text, and video features taken from different videos (TED Talks) and OTT
platforms such as Netflix, YouTube, and HBO and generate a humor quotient score
on a 10-point scale for stand-up comedy clips. Our project demonstrates the
potential for NLP to provide a more objective and quantitative way to analyze and
understand the humor in stand-up comedy, which can be difficult due to the
subjectivity and cultural dependencies of humor. The dataset can be used to
evaluate and compare the performance of different humor-detection models and
could also be used to train other models, such as text-to-speech systems, to make
them more expressive and scalable. The paper concludes that this approach could
provide valuable insights into the characteristics of humor that are more likely to be
understood by a larger audience.

Conclusion & Future Scope
1.The project proposes a novel scoring mechanism for automated
humor rating using audience laughter.
2.The scoring mechanism can be emulated using pre-existing
language models and traditional audio and video features, with
neural network-based experiments.
3.The dataset will be released for further research and future work
includes expanding the dataset and conducting experiments to
compare the contribution of different features.
4.Media streaming platforms can further learn from our insights to
understand users’ preferences.
5.Corporate offices can use laughter detection to maintain a healthy
work environment
