the person or the thing spoken
of (third person).

and them are all personal
pronouns.

The nominative case or
subject pronouns are
used when the pronoun is
the subject of a sentence
or the predicate
nominative.

plural pronouns.

Objective Case
The objective case is used when
the pronoun is a direct object, an
indirect object, or an object of a
preposition. Pronouns also match
the person, number, and gender of
their referents.

Me, you, him, her & it
are singular pronouns.
Us, you, & them are
plural pronouns.

Katherine carried her
cute, pink backpack into
her classroom.

with her little sister in
