Diferencias Sexuales de la Pelvis
La pelvis femenina es más ancha que la masculina. El ángulo subpúbico en la pelvis femenina es
congruente con un ángulo de aproximadamente 135°, mientras que la pelvis masculina es
congruente con un ángulo menor a 90°.

Planos y diámetros de la pelvis femenina !
Limitado en toda su extensión por la línea terminal.
 El plano del estrecho se describen cuatro diámetros:
• El anteroposterior (promontosuprapúbico o conjugado verdadero),
superior de la pelvis: • El diámetro transversal
• Los diámetros oblicuos
• El diámetro promontosubpúbico o conjugado diagonal

Consta de dos zonas con una base en común entre las dos tuberosidades isquiáticas
 El plano del estrecho  El diámetro anteroposterior
inferior de la pelvis:  El diámetro posterior sagital
 El diámetro transversal

Se encuentra a nivel de las espinas isquiáticas
