DECLARATION OF HUMAN RIGHTS
IS PROTECTION OF EVERYONE’S
DIGNITY AS A HUMAN BEING
PERTINENCE OF THE UDHR
TO TECHNOLOGY
• The UDHR is relevant to technology as it underscores
the importance of protecting human rights in all aspects
of life, including the digital realm.

• It implies that technological advancements should

respect and uphold human dignity, privacy, and
equality.
IN THE CROSSROADS OF UDHR AND
TECHNOLOGY, SAFEGUARDING HUMAN
DIGNITY IS PARAMOUNT, ENSURING
TECH RESPECTS RIGHTS, EQUALITY, AND
PRIVACY UNIVERSALLY.
HUMAN AND TECHNOLOGY IN
THE CROSSROADS
What now is the effect of science and
technology to human dignity?

• Scientific and technological advances

should have been the vanguard against
whatever sort of disrespect to the human
dignity.

AND HUMANITY HAVE CROSSED
• ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE
Development of AI has the potential to revolutionize
many aspects of our daily lives, from health care to
transportation. However, it also poses a significant risk
to our jobs and job security. The rise of machine learning
means many jobs that were once done by humans are
now being replaced by machines. Therefore, Can lead to

WHERE NOW IS THE
DIGNITY OF HUMANS AS A
PERSON?
IF WORKERS ARE REPLACED BY MACHINES, SO
DO THEIR DIGNITY, AS HUMAN BEINGS, THEY
LOST THEIR VALUE.

“ ANYTHING TOO MUCH IS BAD”

WE NEED TO ENSURE THAT OUR
TECHNOLOGICAL ADVANCEMENTS
ARE ALIGNED WITH OUR HUMAN
VALUES AND ETHICS.
IN CONLUSION, THE MAIN KEY OF
NAVIGATING THE INTERSECTION OF
TECHNOLOGY AND HUMANITY IS TO STRIKE A
BALANCE BETWEEN TECHNOLOGY PROGRESS
AND SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY.

WE NEED TO KNOW OUR BOUNDARIES AS

WELL. ONLY THEN CAN WE TRULY HARNESS
THE POWER OF TECHNOLOGY TO IMPROVE
OUR LIVES AND CREATE A
BETTER FUTURE FOR ALL OF US.
SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY SHOULD
BE AN INSTRUMENT TO PROMOTE THE
GROWTH AND DEVELOPMENT, AND
FLOURISHING OF HUMAN BEING. IT
SHOULD NOT BE HERE TO CAUSE
SEGMENTS AMONG PEOPLE.
