Everton Football Club is an English Premier

World War Two period until a revival in the 1960s
which saw the club win two league championships

The Cathedral
The Cathedral is an impressive red
sandstone church, completed in
1978. It is the largest Christian
religious building in the UK and
the fifth in the world. The building
has a magnificent tower with a
height of 91 meters and an organ
that is one of the largest on the
planet.

Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral is the
main Catholic church of the city, which is
a striking example of modern architecture.
Initially, the Catholic community planned
to build a huge cathedral, which would be
the second largest church in the world and
would have a huge dome larger than the
dome of St. Peter's Cathedral in Rome.
The Second World War made the
construction project very expensive. The
construction site was abandoned.

in Liverpool in 1980. After 6
years, it was forcibly
expanded.

St. George's Hall
St. George's Hall is a neoclassical
building of the 19th century with
Corinthian columns and wonderful
statues. In 1836, the city authorities
decided that Liverpool needed a
building where concerts,
celebrations and dinners could be
held. From the inside, the building
is divided into a Concert Hall, a
Civil and a Criminal Court.
