06 Determining Textual Evidence
06 Determining Textual Evidence
QUARTER
Week 2, Day 1
What do you think is the importance
of presenting a textual evidence?
When writing a certain text, you actually act
like a detective. Your paper is the crime scene.
You have your own suspect, which is your
stand on your paper. You need to look for
evidences to prove your stand. The several
articles, books, journals, essays, and other
writings that you have to read are your
witnesses that you have to scrutinize for you
to find out who is telling the truth. Once you
find out who is telling the truth, the most
reliable and relevant one, you will have a
strong TEXTUAL EVIDENCE in your paper.

Nonverbal communication plays a very important part in the field of communication.
The sender’s emotion and real thoughts can be read by their nonverbal action that is why
having this nonverbal communication skill-both the sender and receiver- is a very important
factor when interacting with other people.
The study entitled “Impact of Nonverbal Communication on Students Learning
outcomes’ by Butt (2009) concluded that, “teachers made the learning environment active
through their non-verbal communication whereby students felt alert in the classrooms and

In addition, Lucas (2007) said that ‘in speech delivery is a matter of nonverbal
communication. It is not based on words, but on how the speaker used his voice and body to
convey the message expressed by his words. There is a great deal of research on nonverbal
communication in general and on speech delivery in particular. That speech or a daily
