Next Generation

Telecom Network
Architecture
Group No: 8
Karan Kale: 23
Introduction
Next Generation Telecom refers to the evolution of
communication networks characterized by advanced
technologies like 5G, Internet of Things (IoT), and
artificial intelligence (AI). It promises faster, more
reliable, and interconnected systems, revolutionizing
how we connect and communicate in the digital age.
Packed Based
Unlike traditional networks which handle voice and data
separately, Next Generation Network use a unified
approach, converting all information (voice, data, video)
into packets. This allows for efficient transmission and
integration of diverse services.
Multiple access technologies:

Next Generation Networks (NGNs) embrace the

concept of multiple access technologies. This means
they can support various methods for users to connect
and access the network to diverse needs and situations.
Service-independent:

Next Generation Network separate service delivery

from the underlying network infrastructure. This means
new services can be introduced and deployed without
major network modifications.
Current State

Next Generation Telecom, built on packet-based

architecture, is marked by extensive 5G network
deployment and integration of IoT and AI
technologies,driving unprecedented levels of speed,
reliability, and connectivity in the digital landscape.
