 Seismograph
The seismograph uses an urn and
pendulum. If it detected a vibration
a metal ball would fall from a metal
dragons' mouth into a metal frog
mouth, which caused a clang. It was
first used when it detected a
vibration. But then a few days later
a messenger came and informed
the emperor that an earthquake
happened 400 miles away. This
proved how well this machine
worked.
Government and politics
• One notable ruler of the Han dynasty was Liu Xiu who reasserted the
power of the Han dynasty after Wang Mang took over and made the
short-lived Xin dynasty.
• Theories of why the Han dynasty collapsed include bad rulers,
children who are too young to rule and the Yellow Turban Revolt
which is when underpaid and badly treated pheasants attempted to
overthrow the ruler which ruins the whole empire.
• One failure of the Han dynasty was the terrible rulers which is the
leading theory of why they collapsed.
The Silk Road Of The Han Dynasty
Hans silk road was created by
Emperor Wu to conquer the
tribes to the west but ended
up being captured. Eventually
though one of the men
escaped and went west to
Afghanistan and found
bamboo and textile. So after
thirteen years of mapping
an traveling he came back
and told him the path he
took creating THE SILK ROAD!
