• Folder reflects the structure of online learning
material.

• They can be of 2 types: Root folder and Normal


folders

• Root Folder is linked to the business group.

• A folder can contain sub folder.

• They help to group test, question banks etc.

of online content.
• By default, all learning objects are initially unpublished.
• By publishing learning objects we indicate that the
content is available
• Once published status cannot be changed to
unpublished.
• Helps to track the delivery language

Create a Question Bank

• It is a collection of Questions and Responses.

• It helps to group similar questions of a related topic.

• Question bank is created under a folder.

• By default Question bank is in Unpublished status.


When a question bank is ready for use, we publish the
question bank.

• Once the Status is changed to Published it cannot be


Unpublished.

• OLM helps to create following Type of Questions that


can be created under a Question Bank:
• Fill-in-the-Blank (Text Response)
• Fill-in-the-Blank (Numeric Response)
• True or False
• Multiple Choice (Single Correct Response)
• Multiple Choice (Multiple Correct Responses)
• Free Text (Not Scored)

• Once we select a particular Question type, we


cannot update the Question Type.

• A response is a possible answer to a question.

• We can use HTML coding also enhance the


question appearance. Check on the “Render HTML”
check-box.

• The order of response can be fixed or random.

• Feedback can also be included.

• Weightage is captured by Points.

of a test.

Overview

• Tests measure the learners understanding of the


content.
• Test is divided into Sections
• It should contain at least one Section.
• We can randomize questions within a section, but
not across sections.
• Assessment type determines if it is a Test or Survey.
• Question Source can be:
• Pre-Defined{Questions we wish to add}
• Rule-Based{Enter number of questions and allow the test
to select the Questions Randomly}

• Resuming Test is an option available while creation


of a test.
• A test can be created by drawing question from one
or more Question Banks.
• We can reuse the same questions in more than one
tests.
• The test can also be Time based.
• Scores are percentage based scores or Sum of item
scores.

Section

• Section is a logical partition that consists of related


questions.

• Section comprises of Questions already included as


a part of an existing Question Bank.

• It helps to group mandatory and non mandatory


questions.

• Making multiple sections from one question bank is


possible but vice versa does not hold true.

• After selecting the Question Bank we pick the


relevant Questions to be used in the Test Section.

Evaluation
• Learners can evaluate online or classroom based
training in the system by using this feature.

• Feedback can be collected from the learners on the


training in a more structured way

• Evaluations are created the same way a


Test/Survey is created, except by selecting
“Evaluation” in the Assessment type field.

• Evaluations can be added at the course level and


class level, but you cannot add an evaluation once
there are enrollments in a class.

• Default Evaluation can be mentioned at the course
level which gets defaulted when ever a class is
created from this course.

• The evaluation which is collected automatically can


be made mandatory or voluntary.

• Evaluation Results of non-text based questions can


be viewed in the system at the course/class level.

• A feedback report can also be generated which


would provide statistical data for text/non-text based
questions. The “OLM Course Evaluation Report”
concurrent program is run to generate this report.
