Real-life Company Analysis
 Select a real-world company having operations in Hong Kong and/or the Mainland

 Analyse the industry/industries the company is engaging in together with its business environment
(political, economic, social etc.)

 Identify difficulties/challenges the company is currently facing

 Evaluate the company’s performance in fulfilling its corporate social responsibilities (or
environmental, social and governance (“ESG”) performance)

Required: Group Presentation--(max) 50 minutes + (max) 20 minutes Q&A


Business Plan
Case material for the business plan will be provided in due course.

A business plan should include:


 A proposal on a business model;
 mechanisms on how to start up initially or how to enhance future/existing operations or both
(depending on the requirement of the case);
 suggestions on innovative yet feasible actions detailing an operation and manpower plan
together with financial budgets.

Required: group presentation--(max) 20 minutes + 5 minutes Q&A; group written report!


Ethical Issue

3. Discover alternative solutions and recommend a solution

4. Explain your choice

Required: individual written report, no presentation!
