Summary of product strategy

 ZMCC has launched a series of products targeting enterprises of Type A, B and C and their employees. Employee
market research and focus groups with decision makers confirm early successes of several of these products, such as
VPMN
 Going forward, however, ZMCC faces several challenges: enterprises increasingly demand tailored solutions; ZMCC’s
innovation advantage against competitors could be weakening; and ZMCC has yet to demonstrate credibility in the
fixed-line segment
 In order to overcome these challenges, CKAD must develop Group Customer/Enterprise product roadmaps that fulfill
four major objectives:
1. Retain existing customer base
2. Extend customer base
3. Develop new business areas
4. Build brand image
 Based on a long list of 190 potential applications and CKAD current plans about products, the team has identified 7
horizontal solutions categories, 6 vertical solutions categories, 41 generic solutions, and 52+ generic applications.
Taken together, these applications fulfill the four major objectives mentioned above
 The team has prioritized individual applications based on market attractiveness, strategic benefits, technology readiness,
and market readiness. As a result, the team is developing product roadmaps that cater to specific industries. As a next
step, applications will be further detailed to highlight required functionalities for each target industry
