BACKGROUND

Thousands of Rohingya asylum seekers have crowded


the shores of Aceh since November 2023.
Some of them are found to have refugee status from
UNHCR and It originates from Bangladesh and
Malaysia, not directly from Myanmar.
They are suspected to have fled and become involved
with international human trafficking syndicates
