It is a critical, objective, and
specialized text that is written by
professionals or experts in a
particular field. They are written in
formal language and have a formal style
and tone. Since these are objective
texts, they are based on facts.

characterized by
having a clear
structure. On a general
level, this means that
the texts have an
introduction, the main
body, and an end.

In the introduction, you
present to the reader what
the text will be about.

The main body of a
text consists of paragraphs
that describe and develop
the topic introduced in the
introduction.

done in the text.
