SMART GLOVES FOR DRAF

AND MUTE
ABSTRACT

• In general, deaf people have difficulty in


communicating with others who do not
understand sign language. Even those who
do speak aloud typically have a "deaf voice"
of which they are self-conscious and that can
make them reticent. The Hand Talk glove is
a normal, rubber glove fitted with flex
sensors.
CONTENT LAYOUT

• Interfacing microcontroller with flex sensor and accelerometer.

• Accelerometer will capture the hand movement.

• Making the the system wireless.

• Text and audio form of hand gesture will be produced on nextion screen and speaker.

STAGES OF EVOLUTION

• When we first started the project, it


consisted of very simple tools. The sensors
used were not suitable for the purpose, and
the size of the device was very large, making
it difficult to control.

CONCLUSIONS

• This project aims to lower the communication gap between the deaf and mute community and
the ordinary world.

• Our design will be easy to use and cheap.

• Keeping these people healthy from emergencies.

• Ability to control many home appliances
